Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign

Last week my co-workers were gracious enough to give me a $25 gift card to Amazon for Christmas. Although Amazon is sparse when it comes to card options, there are other items the online retailer offers that I've always wanted but didn't want to spend my card dollars on. This is one of them. It's a modern metal sign that's made to look old. Since I've always been a Topps fan, the sign made logical sense to add to my man cave. There were a variety of Topps signs to choose from but this one depicting the batter, catcher and umpire is by far my favorite.

Nice sign! I have seen a sign like that and had the same thought, that i'd like it but not enough to buy it. The gift certificate is a perfect solution.

The title to this post made me smile and really want to take a look at the post. I'm friends with Les Emmerson, the songwriter for "Signs".

Thanks Angus! That's fantastic that you're friends with Les Emmerson. I've wanted to check out "The Sound City Sessions". I really enjoy his work.

Nice Amazon purchase! I think that's where I bought my 1954 Topps Baseball sign a few years ago. I received an Amazon gift card from one of my students... and was having difficulty figuring out what I want. If I had more wall space, I'd consider adding the sign you bought. Most likely... I'll buy Orphan Black Season 3 to watch next week.
