Jeff Shaw was selected to the 1998 All Star Game as a member of the Cincinnati
Reds, but was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers at the beginning of the
All Star break, thus his first game he pitched as a Dodger was in the
1998 All Star Game? Now you do!

Huh. That's pretty cool.
Yeah, that's the first I've ever heard of that happening. What's the worst is when a team has a bobblehead night for a player...only the player was traded a few weeks before the promotion.
