For the third straight year I've registered for an opportunity to buy Opening Day tickets from the Reds, and for the third straight year I've come up empty on not being selected. One of the things on my bucket list is to attend the Findlay Market parade and the Reds Opening Day game. Alas, it looks like this won't be the year that I can cross this item off my wish list. Just thinking about this makes me feel like my latest album of amazing addition. I spotted this 1995 Score Darryl Strawberry on
Night Owl's blog a few months back. I think this is the first and only card I've seen of a ballplayer pouting.

I've been to Pirates Opening Day once and had a blast. It is an all day affair though as people got there at the crack of dawn so parking was at a premium.
I've heard the same about the Red's Opening Day events. A few of my relative have gone and said that people start lining the parade route just after dawn and it's a party atmosphere throughout the day.
